Jesse Birgy Interview

Thanks for stopping by because today we have a special treat for you.  This July we had a chance to catch up with Jesse Birgy who drivers the Monster Truck Play'N for Keeps.  This will be one of several interviews that we will try and do throughout the year.  If you would like to request a special racer for an interview just drop us a line.

On to the interview....

Who are you and how did you get into Monster Truck Racing?

Well my name is Jesse Birgy and I have been racing for what will be 21 years this October.  I got into racing purely by accident and my first Monster Truck was called the Ice Monster.

What are the different places racing trucks have taken you?

I have been all over North America including Canada, Mexico and just about everywhere in the United States of America.

What is the best thing about racing the big trucks?

Seeing the kids smile on race day and hearing the crowd makes every race worth my time.  I love the fact that I can make kids have a great time and enjoy their experience at the races.  The day I don't make anyone smile anymore is the day I will quit driving trucks.

What is the worst thing about racing?

Time away from my daughter is probably the worst thing.  Then again crashing the trucks is not a whole lot of fun either.

Have you met any WWE Stars or other famous people?

I have had the pleasure of meeting Chyna but my favorite was when I met Ted Nugent.
